WCJH 2024 Chapel's Got Talent Show tickets are being sold in the library. They will be $5.00 Monday, April 29th - Thursday, May 2nd. The price of tickets on the day of the show, Friday, May 3rd, will go up to $7.00 so buy your ticket early.

On Tuesday, April 16th, 150 students participated in an all-expense paid field trip to Dickey-Stephens Park in Little Rock to see the Arkansas Travelers play the Frisco Roughriders. The Travelers won 4-3! Both are Double A Minor League teams. The Travelers are an affiliate of the Seattle Mariners and the Frisco Roughriders are affiliated with the Texas Rangers.
Thank you to our chaperones Coach Beth Grant, Ms. Shala Jordan, Ms. Quadera Turner, Ms. Juanita Washington, Coach Jevon Barnes, Coach Jonathan Strickland, Sgt. Jimmy Stocker, Coach Brandon Little, Coach Chazeray McHenry, and Coach Eric Thompson.

Tomorrow (Friday, April 12th) is a Special Food day at WCJH. There will be snacks and drinks available for students to purchase in the library. It will start at 7:30 am and end at 3:30 pm. Or when sold out.

Watson Chapel Junior High will dismiss school early today, March 14, 2024, at 2:30 p.m. due to Parent Teacher Conferences. Parent Teacher Conference will be from 3:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Also, school will be dismissed for junior high students March 15, 2024, and March 18-22, 2024. Enjoy and have a safe Spring Break.

The Watson Chapel JROTC Program for Accreditation (JPA) was conducted on March 13, 2024. Representatives from the United States Army Cadet Command 5th
Brigade from Fort Sam Houston, Texas conducted the inspection.
The inspection included two formal briefings by the cadets and a review of cadet portfolios, Instructor portfolios and interviews with cadets concerning JROTC curriculum knowledge. It also included an In-Ranks inspection as well Color Guard and Drill. This level of inspection is performed every 2-3 years and determines if the school will continue to have an accredited JROTC program.
Our students did an outstanding job scoring at 97.25 % earning the designation “Honor Unit with Distinction”. This award goes to units who held a very high standard, and puts the Watson Chapel JROTC program as an excellent program in the state and the nation. Watson Chapel JROTC has over 47 years of excellence!
